Unused credits

You can request a refund for the unused portion of a credit pack. For a wholly unused pack, we refund the amount paid for that pack. For a partly used pack, the refundable portion is calculated from the original purchase price and the number of purchased credits remaining. Refunded credits are removed from the account.

Credits already used for successfully delivered explanations are normally not refundable, except where a service problem or applicable rights require a different resolution. Promotional credits have no cash value.

Failed requests and payment problems

If an explanation fails but your balance decreases, email us with the approximate time and the lesson you were using. We will review the usage record and correct credits deducted for an undelivered request. You can also contact us about a duplicate payment, a purchase that has not reached your account or an explanation that failed to provide the advertised service.

If a paid explanation service is discontinued, you can request a refund of your unused purchased balance using the same calculation.

How to request a refund

1. Email contact@engineerafrica.org from the address associated with the purchase.
2. Include the purchase date, pack name and receipt or payment reference. Explain whether the request concerns unused credits, a duplicate payment or a service problem.
3. We review the purchase and credit records, confirm the amount and resolution by email, and return approved refunds through the original payment method where supported.

Please do not email full card numbers, bank credentials, passwords or sign-in links. Processing and bank posting times vary; we do not promise a fixed turnaround.

This policy applies to learning-credit purchases, not donations. It does not limit any refund, cancellation or other rights you may have under applicable law.
